As a Barkeeper you will be in charge supervise and manage the activities and personnel of the bar area and to provide guests with a service that exceeds their expectations and is in full compliance with the company’s operating procedures and service standards service.

Qualifications, Experiences & Core Competencies Required

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Vocational training in a Hospitality Bar will be highly welcome.
• Prior experience in the hospitality or cruise industry, in a Barkeepers role of at least 3 years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is essential whilst very good knowledge of German is also required. Fluency in other languages, such as French and/or Spanish will be considered as an advantage.
• A strong customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle challenging situations and provide solutions to guest services.
• High level of organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities and personnel in his area of duty effectively.
• Ability to resolve issues independently or by seeking assistance from appropriate personnel.
• Capable of performing physical duties such as standing for extended periods of time, assisting with luggage, loadings, laundry etc. and participating in emergency drills.
