chef d'Partie
The Chef d’ Partie is assigned to a particular part of the galley and is responsible for the food production of the particular galley section where he/she has been assigned assigned. The Chef d’ Partie should carry out his/hers assigned duties in high standards so as to deliver exceptional food products to our guests that are of excellent quality, exceed their expectations and are in full compliance with the company’s quality & operating procedures as well as hygiene and service standards.
Qualifications, Experiences & Core Competencies Required
- At least 2 years of prior experience in a Chef d’partie position at a 4 or 5 star Hospitality establishment or Cruise industry.
- Professional cookery diploma from an accredited culinary or vocational training school will be considered an advantage
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English is essential.
- A strong customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle challenging situations and provide solutions to guest services.
- Good level of organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities in his/hers area of duty effectively.
- Ability to follow given instructions and to produce food at the requested standards and quality
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tasks. Ability to resolve issues independently
